Records to MiniDV videocassette for picture quality that is at least 25% better than analog formats, including Hi8 and S-VHS, significantly improving detail, clarity and audio quality. Available in 30, 60 and 80-minute cassette lengths, MiniDV is the most popular digital format endorsed by professionals, amateurs and camcorder manufacturers alike.
