• AR1 is 3-way tower loudspeaker, utilizing a high efficiency Bob Carver/Sunfire® amplifier. This amplifier features exclusive Tracking-Down-Converter (TDC) technology for an 85% power conversion efficiency, versus 15-25% efficiency found in conventional amplifiers. The benefits to this design are high power, excellent sound quality, huge dynamic headroom and low operating temperature. In addition, this amplifier contains a built-in Intelligent Parameter Control circuit (IPC) which protects the 15" side load woofer and enables it to operate at its maximum level of performance.
• The AR1 employs proprietary 5-1/4" MagAlloy Monocoque Mid-Range drivers mounted in a dual focused array with a 1" plasma transferred diamond hardened Titanium dome tweeter.
• All transducers are magnetically shielded.
