Pioneer's new HTD-510 DVD home theater system has everything required to transform living space into living theater - a DVD/CD Player, powerful built-in amplifier, and integrated surround sound system including two front speaker; a high-sensitivity center speaker to make voices more distinct, two rear speakers and subwoofer.
The disc player's built-in DTS/Dolby Digital decoder, amplifier's total maximum power of 400W, and speaker system, 5.1-channel output help generate dynamic sound to maximum theatrical effect. Advanced Theater and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) modes simulate various acoustic sound fields according to listener taste or musical ambiance. Color-coded speaker cable and terminals keep connections simple.
This system also offers ample CD playback flexibility. Two-way front speakers perform at an exceptionally high level of quality. Advanced Theater modes using front left, front right, center, surround left, and surround right speakers, create all-encompassing sound, even from 2-channel music sources, that can be appreciated from anywhere in a room. The 5-a carousel is conveniently programmable for long-playing listening sessions. CD Mode plays back only CD and CD-R discs loaded, even if DVDs or Video CDs are also loaded, to reduce complication when listeners want to listen to music only.
