Yamaha's proprietary Digital Sound Field Processing, Cinema DSP, Tri-Field Processing and
Dolby Pro Logic. This receiver provides performance and processing for most types of audio
and video sound tracks. Discrete power transistors make the 5230 sound quality more robust
compared to the standard IC outputs found in lesser designs. Convenience features include
special low impedance drive circuitry that matches virtually any speaker load, 2 audio
inputs plus 4 A/V inputs that include S-Video, and heavy duty speaker terminals that
accept the thickest cable gauges.
