Improved Handling

To provide a sure grip and greater handling comfort, Minolta Activa Compact-Type Binoculars feature attractive-looking rubber grip enhancers on the top, side, and bottom of the outer housing.

All Minolta Compact-Type Activa Binoculars use high-quality, multi-coated optics and BaK-4 prisms, for clear, crisp viewing over the entire image field of view with unsurpassed contrast and brightness.

Zoom Control

Zoom control provides an extensive magnification range which is ideal for a variety of activities ranging from wildlife observation to sporting events. At a low magnification, the user can survey the entire field of view at a glance, then zoom in to view the details.

The zoom lever is conveniently located at the top of the right eyepiece, for a firm grip and comfortable zooming control. The lever is incorporated into a knurled control ring around the eyepiece barrel, making it easy to zoom using only the thumb.

Long Eye Relief (models 8x25, 10x25, and 12x25)

Minolta Activa Binoculars 8x25, 10x25, and 12x25 feature a long eye relief of up to 17mm, the longest in this class of binoculars. This makes viewing much more comfortable even for eyeglass wearers. The easy-to-adjust sliding eyepiece cups extend or retract as needed.

Diopter Adjustment

This allows the user to pre-focus the binoculars to his or her own eyes' requirements. Diopter adjustment is independent of focusing and needs to be set only once for the user. The diopter adjustment ring on models 8x25, 10x25, and 12x25 features positive click-stops for quick adjustment.

Center Wheel Focusing

The large focusing wheel can be operated easily with either hand, and allows the user to quickly zero in on a subject or track moving objects effortlessly. Center wheel focusing is quick and smooth even when wearing gloves.
