An affordable price, an ultra-compact design, a stylish look and Advanced Photo System technology add up to a fun and fashionable way to take photographs. The new Canon ELPH LT, at just 4.1 ounces, is the world's lightest APS camera with autofocus capabilities. Its sleek and stylish two-tone appearance adds to the fun and lets users make a fashion statement with technology.

Equipped with a 23mm f/4.8 focal length lens, the ELPH LT delivers sharp pictures in virtually any shooting condition. The ELPH LT's active autofocus system is fast and accurate, providing an effective focusing range as close as 2 ft. to infinity (3.3 ft. to infinity when the flash is set to OFF). In addition to auto and manual ON/OFF settings, the built-in flash offers Slow Synchro and Red-eye Reduction modes to improve picture quality. The ELPH LT incorporates many benefits of APS technology like easy drop-in film loading; auto film advance and rewind; three shooting formats including Classic (C), Wide Angle (H) and Panoramic (P); plus built-in date, time and title functions. The Magnetic Information Exchange (IX) feature enables the ELPH LT to record detailed shooting condition data for every exposure. This information is saved and shared during the photofinishing process, enabling the developer to make appropriate adjustments to produce the best possible prints. For larger-than-life picture quality that fits in the palm of your hand, pick up the Canon ELPH LT.

Features:

  • Fully-automatic, ultra-compact Advanced Photo System camera is the world's smallest and lightest APS camera with autofocus. The ELPH LT offers effortless film loading and a choice of three picture formats: Classic (2:3 format), Wide Angle (9:16 format) and Panoramic (1:3 format) The ELPH Jr. also features fully automatic focusing, auto exposure, a self timer and auto advance and rewind functions, taking the guesswork out of every shot.
  • High-quality Canon 23mm f/4.8 lens features a triplet lens design of 3 lenses in 3 groups for high picture quality and compactness (equivalent to 29mm on 35mm-format cameras). High refraction optical glass reduces aberrations and also improves image quality.
  • Magnetic Information Exchange (IX) data recording automatically records up to nine types of picture data including the date, title, print size, cartridge loading direction, flash use, subject brightness, magnification, artificial light source and flash exposure on every shot. Together, these elements allow film processing equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality photofinishing results.
  • Automatic Date mode records the date on the film magnetically, and prints it on both the front and back, or on the back only of every picture (depending on the capability of the photofinishing laboratory). Choose from 5 date formats.
  • Convenient titling function provides the ability to print one of five titles in six languages on the back of every picture. Choose from I Love You, Thank You, Season's Greetings, Happy Birthday and Congratulations.
  • Built-in flash with Red-eye Reduction enables you to take crisp, clear pictures in any lighting condition. Five flash modes include Auto with Red-eye Reduction, Auto without Red-eye Reduction, Flash OFF, Flash ON and Slow Synchro with Red-eye Reduction. When taking flash pictures with Red-eye Reduction, a mini lamp illuminates the subject an instant before the flash fires to reduce pupil size, thereby minimizing red-eye effects.
