Or, you can manually turn the flash on or off, giving you total control over film exposure. Focusing and film handling is automatic, too. The Snappy QT Date sets the film speed for you, and automatically loads and advances film inside the camera. There's even a mid-roll rewind button to take up the film from any position. And the Canon Snappy QT Date model conveniently prints the date and/or time in one of five formats right on your photos, so you know exactly where and when precious moments took place.
Features
Fully Automatic 35mm Fixed Focus Camera makes taking great pictures a snap. The Snappy QT Date sets the film speed, loads and advances the film, and rewinds at the touch of button. Plus, a button-controlled Mid-Roll Rewind feature lets you rewind the film from any position.
"Super-size" Viewfinder is much larger than the viewfinders you'll see on other cameras in this class. It's easier to see through and allows for more light to enter the viewfinder, so it's brighter, too. The Snappy QT Date is a great choice for people who wear glasses full time. And since the viewfinder is positioned directly over the lens itself, the Snappy QT Date eliminates left-right parallax.
Built-in Flash with Red-Eye Reduction brightens any picture. Just select the desired flash mode and shoot. The built-in flash with Red-eye Reduction fires automatically in lighting conditions below EV 12, eliminating unwanted shadows and revealing the true colors of everyone's eyes. Turn the flash on or off manually when flash photography is not permitted or required.
Self-timer function lets you be part of the action with a 10-second delay. The Countdown Indicator on the front of the Snappy QT Date lets you know exactly when to smile.
Precision Canon Optics are built into the 32mm f/6.2 three-element optical lens. Fixed-focus technology means you never have to worry about focusing again. The Snappy QT Date provides a shooting distance range of 4.9 feet to infinity.
Date Function on the QT Date model let's you track the time and/or the date on every picture. An easy-to-read LCD panel lets you choose one of five different date and time formats, or you can choose to imprint nothing at all.
