The Tamron AF28-200mm F/3.8-5.6 LD Aspherical (IF) Super lens has the shortest minimum focusing distance in its class. At the 200mm focal length, you can focus as close as 80cm (31.5"). With two Hybrid Aspherical elements and a large LD (Low Dispersion) element, the lens achieves outstanding image quality in a discernibly compact package. Driving the lens is the Integrated Focus Cam optimizing the Internal Focusing mechanism. The system functions to reduce the minimum focusing distance and boosts optical performance. This extraordinary lens covers virtually any subject including close-ups with its 1:4.8 magnification ratio.
