HTsi is deceptively potent. No other camera in its class comes close to
its power and performance features.
From its 1/4000 sec. shutter speed to its
highly-advanced 14-segment Honeycomb Metering system, everything you need
in an AF SLR camera is at your fingertips.
You'll never believe how easy and rewarding it is to
capture extraordinary moments in your life. Until you get your hands on the new Maxxum
HTsi.
3-Point Crosscut Autofocus
The new 3-point crosscut autofocus system instantly
identifies and tracks your subject. Separate 3-point sensors keep even off-center
subjects sharp. And the combination horizontal and vertical pattern enables you to
focus even on the horizon.
Action
So fast, so accurate, the Maxxum HTsi is
point-and-shoot easy to use. While you compose your, shot the autofocus system
captures and tracks even a moving subject. You can simply wait for the right moment,
or you can fire non-stop at up to 2 frames per second.
Predictive Focus Control
Predictive focus control means the Maxxum HTsi
calculates exactly where a moving subject will be, even at the moment of shutter release,
so that the focus is always razor sharp.
1/4000 Second
The Maxxum HTsi is the only camera in its
class to offer such a high shutter speedallowing you to freeze images at the height
of action. The high speed shutter allows a high flash-synchronization speed of
1/125 sec., enabling crisper detail when using flash with moving subjects in low-light or
backlit situations.
Stop motion with an astonishing 1/4000 sec. shutter
speed. Capture and see the world in dramatic and compelling ways you never thought
possible. Two frames per second of continuous frame advance means you can capture
the action by just keeping your finger on the shutter releasethere's no need to
reset and risk having to re-compose the scene.
Metering
The Maxxum HTsi is the first AF SLR in its
class to offer sophisticated AF-integrated Honeycomb-Pattern Metering
technology. Light is measured from 13 uniform segments, plus the background.
The uniform size and shape of the individual segments allow the metering pattern to match
your subject precisely. If your subject moves, or the lighting shifts, the metering
pattern adjusts accordingly.
Spot metering allows you to pinpoint a
specific area of the frame with which to base your exposure. Now, a face in a shadow
or a portrait before a window can be captured beautifully and effortlessly. |
