4x Zoom Lens with Splashproof Design
The ultimate in "go anywhere," the Vectis 40 is ready for your greatest adventure. Bring in distant objects with its 4x zoom or take 1/6th life-size close-ups at 2.5 feet. Its autoexposure system with unique three-segment meter offers four subject programs to automate complex settings. The special mid-roll change feature lets you rewind film mid-roll, remove it and use it later to enable switching to faster film speeds or even slide film when available.

Other features include: an extra-bright, long eye-relief viewfinder that’s perfect for eyeglass wearers; retractable, red-eye reduction flash with full auto, fill flash, flash cancel, and night portrait (slow sync flash) modes; automatic soft flash to prevent wash-out in flash- illuminated close-ups; a large LCD data panel that displays the battery condition as well as all the operating modes. The Vectis 40 accepts ISO 32 to 3200 Advanced Photo System film and is powered by two 3-volt CR-2 lithium batteries. It is covered by Minolta’s one-year limited warranty. Optional remote control available.
