Variable Power Flash

Variable-Power Auto Flash in lowlight or backlight, variable-power Auto flash provides just the right amount of light to assure beautiful exposures with rich, natural color.

Red-eye Reducing Flash Mode By firing a rapid series of pre-flashes, this innovative flash mode can significantly reduce the unsightly red-eye effect that often spoils flash portraits.

Fill-in Flash Mode when harsh side light or annoying shadows threaten, simply switch to Fill-In Flash mode. The flash will fire with every shot, erasing shadows with balanced "fill" lighting.

Flash Off Mode Sometimes the best way to capture the mood of the moment is to shoot without flash. If that's the case, just switch the flash off, stabilize the camera, and shoot.

Night Scene/Red-eye Reducing Night Scene Mode By synchronizing the flash with a slower shutter speed, Night Scene Flash mode lets you capture both foreground and background elements beautifully.

The optional RC-200 infrared remote control gives you even greater freedom when taking self-portraits or group shots. Small enough to conceal in your hand, it lets you activate the shutter from 16 feet away.
