The new fully automatic, 35mm autofocus ZLR camera delivers outstanding "all-in-one" versatility and value in the IS line of Olympus ZLR cameras. Providing advantages unequaled in its price range, including true 4x zoom, mid-roll switchable panorama, variable-power flash, date printing, elegant styling, a built-in lens cap and dioptric correction. The advanced Olympus engineering functionality of an SLR camera, several lenses and a number of attachments, is now neatly integrated into the sleek, compact and lightweight (22.9-ounce) silver-metallic-finish body of the IS-20 DLX.

4x Zoom
Its specially designed 28mm ~ 110mm 4x zoom lens uses glass aspherics for high resolution and minimal distortion. Result - exceptional detail and clarity in wide-angle photos at 28mm, as well as crisp, close-up images at 110mm -- even of fast-moving subjects.

Full Auto Mode
The Full Auto mode automatically sets the appropriate shutter speed and aperture setting for you. Through-the-lens exposure metering uses center-weighted averaging and fuzzy logic. Spot metering is provided to help the photographer deal with high-contrast and other difficult lighting situations. The automatic shutter speed range of the IS-20 DLX ranges from 4 seconds to 1/2000th of a second.

Direct Mode Select Buttons
Choose one of five creative modes (landscape, night scene, portrait, stop action and panorama). These program the IS-20 DLX shutter and aperture settings to automatically match the scene to be captured. Aperture Preferred Auto mode gives the user a means of controlling depth of field for a selected aperture. Long Time mode sets aperture at f8 and automatically selects shutter speed from 1-to-60 seconds for optimum exposure.

Flash
The built-in intelligent variable power twin flash system uses an on-board CPU to program illumination for optimum exposure over distances from 2.5 to 30 ft. (with ISO 400 negative color film). Fill-in flash is automatic, providing an extra shot of light to turn back-lit or side-lit photos into extraordinary compositions. An Auto-S mode is also provided for soft-pre-flash red-eye reduction. The IS-20 DLX is supplied with an action case. Accessories are an optional 1/7x teleconverter (providing 180mm telephoto capability) and a remote control with 3-second delay and 16 ft. range.
