It doesn't take good-looking digital images, it takes great photos.

Designed with the professional and advanced amateur in mind, the fully-featured and versatile C-2500L SLR uses an exclusive 2/3-inch CCD and new TruePic™ Technology process to capture pixel information with improved accuracy. Combined with an impressive 2.5 million pixel CCD with a resolution of 1712 x 1368, the C-2500L produces perhaps the sharpest digital images ever—delivering the more accurate color, gradation and contrast of a true photograph.

The advanced C-2500L SLR also packs a number of impressive features, like a choice of fully automatic or fully manual exposure, white balance and focus, a versatile pop-up 5-mode flash, a powerful 3x Olympus optical zoom (the equivalent of a 36-110mm zoom on a 35mm film camera), and an SLR viewfinder that offers a 95%-centered view. Built for speed, the C-2500L SLR can also shoot as fast as composition and focusing are done; there's no waiting in-between shots. After shooting, the C-2500L's new, high-resolution 122,000 pixel TFT LCD displays a clear, detailed image with a 2x or 4x magnification inspection mode.

Combined with a system of accessories, the versatile C-2500L's capabilities can be dynamically expanded. Connect an external flash with the C-2500L's hot-shoe flash connection, or take advantage of additional features with the FL-40 Dedicated Flash. And with add-on Olympus lenses like the B-28 and 1.45x telephoto, the optical range of the C-2500L SLR can be extended from a 29mm wide-angle to a 160mm telephoto—covering the most commonly used lens ranges. Flash System
The C-2500LSLR features a built-in pop-up 5-mode flash with +/- 2-step exposure control in third step increments, for professional-quality versatility and performance. The C-2500L is also compatible with external hot-shoe flashes, including the FL-40 Dedicated Flash, which was designed for use with the C-2500L and provides additional features.

• Through-the-lens TTL flash
• Red-Eye Reduction Flash Mode emits a series of pre-flashes right before the shutter snaps, allowing the subject's eyes to adjust to the light level of the flash—reducing the red-eye effect
• Slow Synchro Flash Mode for shots requiring long exposure with fill-in flash
• Fill-In Flash Mode adds light to eliminate shadows, for a more natural look in photos when your subject is in both bright light and dark shadow
• Flash Off Mode is available when flash photography is not permitted or to allow for up to ½ second exposures automatically or 8 seconds manually, for shots like sunsets and night scenes

Having extra reusable, removable SmartMedia cards on hand means you'll never miss a shot. The C-2500L SLR comes equipped with an 32MB SmartMedia card, but can also use additional 8, 16 and 32 MB cards.

FlashPath Floppy Disk Adapter

Software
The C-2500L SLR camera comes with Olympus Camedia Master software for downloading images from the camera and basic image editing and Enroute QuickStitch panorama stitching software. All software supports both Windows (95/98/NT 4.0) and Power Macintosh (OS 7.6.x and greater), and is year 2000-compliant.

Using the imaging software that comes standard with the D-450 Zoom, you can:
