The C-3030’s professional options also include manual focus, aperture and shutter controls in 1/3-step increments, “iESP” white balance, “iESP” autofocus, “ESP” matrix metering or spot metering, and 15 recording modes. Flash System
The C-3030 Zoom features a built-in 6-mode for versatility and performance. The C-3030 is also compatible with the FL-40 external flash through its TTL sync connection.

• Flash automatically fires in low light or back-lit conditions
• Fill-in flash fires with every shot, reducing shadows and providing balanced illumination
• Switch the flash off when shooting where flash photography is prohibited, or not wanted
• Red-eye reducing flash lamp helps reduce red-eye reflection in portrait photography
• Slow syncro flash with first or second curtain flash for creative flash photography
• Slow synchronization flash with red-eye reduction
