Revolutionary SuperDisk drive stores up to 1,500 images on one removable 120MB disk—the equivalent of about 83 floppy disks! Continuously shoot hundreds shots on a single disk, for easy retrieval. The SuperDisk drive is also floppy-disk compatible, so you can capture images on a standard floppy disk, as well. Either disk you choose, it's simple to transfer images to a personal computer without the use of a cable.

If your computer isn’t equipped with a SuperDisk drive, the camera has a USB port to quickly and easily download images to your Mac or PC. The USB port also turns the camera into an external storage device for your computer.

Special Recording Modes:

Using QuickTime, the PV-SD4090 can create mini video clips by recording successive still images (maximum of 100 frames) in 0.1 second intervals for up to 10 seconds. Once recorded, you can save the videos onto a SuperDisk Diskette or a regular floppy disk as a motion recording file with audio. A total of 90 motion recording files can be stored on one SuperDisk diskette

Record up to 5 seconds of audio to go along with your still pictures. You’ll hear the audio when you play the images back on your computer.

Time Lapse mode allows you to take a photo every 1/5/10/30/60 minutes, or 1/6/12/24 hours

Burst recording allows you to capture a sequence of 16 consecutive still images in 0.5 intervals and play them back on your camera's LCD screen
