High Performance:

2.1 mega pixel Super HAD CCD captures high resolution still images up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. Super HAD technology reduces noise in the imager to improve signal-to-noise ratio for better overall image quality--particularly effective when shooting black objects or in dark situations.
12-bit A-D (analog-to-digital) conversion delivers four times the intensity levels as conventional 10-bit conversion. This results is greater dynamic range as well as greater detail in bright highlights and dark shadows.

Auto orientation position sensor allows the camera to sense whether each shot is vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape). Each shot is then automatically displayed in the correct orientation on the LCD monitor or on your PC monitor.
2-inch (122,000 pixel) extra-bright LCD monitor with multi-angle adjustment and brightness control. The monitor can be angled towards you while the body of the camera is angled toward the subject.
Audio/video output (PAL/NTSC switchable) for easy viewing of images and MPEG movies on any television with standard video inputs. PAL capability allows viewing even when you are overseas.
