2.5" Color LCD Monitor

2.5" Flip-up Active Matrix LCD Monitor allows you to monitor the images from any analog video source such as a camcorder, VCR, TV or DVD player, and review the captured image from memory before storing it on the floppy disc.

Still Image Capture Adapter

MaviCap allows you to take any standard NTSC video signal from a camcorder, VCR, TV or DVD player, and store images onto a standard floppy disc. Because the images are stored on standard floppy disc you can use them in virtually any PC to create documents, or presentations, or even send them along in e-mail to family or friends.

New Quick Access Floppy Disc Drive

This new exclusive technology developed by Sony allows for double the speed when recording or playing back images. The high speed spindle motor combined with new DSP also allows for quicker JPEG compression.

Removable 3.5" 2 HD Floppy Storage Media

The MaviCap still uses the most popular, inexpensive storage media available, the floppy disk. Each disk can record up to 40 images.

Record or Playback Images

Use MaviCap to instantly playback images on your TV, or record still images from any standard NTSC video source using the analog inputs.

Slide Show Mode

Create a slide show of your favorite images on a floppy disk and let them play back on your television automatically.

Index Playback Mode

In the 'play' mode, you can select the Index Mode to view 6 'thumbnail' images on the LCD at one time. You can view, select, delete, or view the next 6 images while in the Index Mode.

Four Recording Modes

Allows you to change the size and number of your pictures by selecting four different modes: Normal, Non Compressed, E-Mail, and Multi-Screen Mode. Each mode offers a different size and different number of images recorded.(ie. Normal Mode: Up to 40 images @ 640 x 480(VGA).
