With it’s high-resolution 240 x 240 pixel display, the Fishfinder 240 makes it even easier to see fish, thermoclines, structure and bottom surface. And like the Fishfinder 160, the Fishfinder 240 is equipped with Garmin’s exclusive See-Thru technology, 400-watt sonar output and Depth Controlled Gain (DCGTM), so the fish will have nowhere to hide.

High Performance:

Exclusive See-Thru™ technology allows the Fishfinder 240 to hear both weak and strong signals simultaneously, allowing you to detect fish even when they are suspended inside structure and thermoclines.
Depth Controlled Gain (DCGTM) automatically adjusts fishfinder sensitivity according to depth, not echo intensity. This lets it present a much more detailed and accurate picture of bottom structure than other fishfinders.
400-watt transmit power means more accurate sounder performance, even at higher speeds where turbulence could interfere with transducer reception.
Unique control bar identifies the most commonly used fishing settings including, 2x and 4x auto and manual zoom and three Fish Symbol sizes-- without hunting through complicated menus. This allows you to quickly configure and save the settings you want, so if lake conditions change, you can fine-tune your Fishfinder on the fly.

Crisp, 3.3-inch four-level gray scale LCD display (240 x 240 pixels) paints a beautiful picture, leaving little to interpretation. And more vertical pixels provides better separation of fish on the display, while more horizontal pixels represent more history for better bottom trends.
Protective front cover and water temperature readings, plus you don't have to worry about this unit getting splashed as you reel in your fish because it was designed to withstand immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
