A compact, all-in-one, beacon receiver and antenna solution, the advanced DBR IV provides precise navigation information for boating, sailing, cruising, fishing or diving. Using signals broadcast from land-based stations (such as the US Coast Guard), the Magellan DBR IV can improve GPS accuracy to better than 3 meters. This rugged, weatherproof unit connects to most Magellan units or any other GPS receiver that accepts standard DGPS RTCM SC-104 data input. The DBR IV features auto-scanning for hands-free operation - no channel changing needed - and automatically selects the strongest signal.
