The M675 has two separate pairs of playback/record heads. The result is a high-quality picture during playback and recording plus clear, distortion-free images in slow motion and still modes.
Toshiba V3Ž Pro Drum with Flying Pre-Amp
Toshiba's award-winning V3 technology delivers the best VHS quality available. For the sharpest picture and clearest sound ever, Toshiba completely redesigned the heart of the VCR - the head cylinder (or drum). The pre-amplifier is built directly into the head cylinder - just like in professional broadcast equipment - eliminating wiring that introduces "noise" into the audio and video. The result is a remarkable improvement in picture and sound quality during playback and recording.
High Fidelity Stereo Audio

XDS with Auto Clock Set

The XDS feature uses a special data stream in your local broadcast source to automatically set the clock display - and keep it accurate - even when time changes to Daylight Savings and back. XDS also provides on-screen displays of each channel's call letters and ID.
Auto Speed Select
No more missed endings of TV shows or important games. During preprogrammed recording, the VCR automatically switches to EP (long play) mode if you're running low on tape.
High-Speed Rewind and Fast-Forward
An advanced high-speed mechanism rewinds or fast-forwards a complete T-120 cassette in about 2 1/2 minutes - one-half the usual time.
